“ First time and was near the hotel. The concept of a buffet they way they do not Inlike it and makes a lot of sense. You are given a menu to select appetizers and sushi. They then deliver it to your table. For the hibachi they give you a little slip and you choose what kind of carb you want like rice, fried rice, lo mein, etc. Then you go up and pick what you want in it and then they cook the hibachi for you and deliver it to your table. What I like is they aren't wasting food and when you get your food it is fresh. Also, reducing the waist keeps their food cost down and for $20.00 for dinner, it is a heck of a deal. The lady and husband that own/run the place are super busy but very kind. The ambiance is nice, nothing fancy at all but comfortable. ”

“ We are in Charleston for Christmas and decided to go to a Taste of Tokyo. We enjoyed the food and thought it was well worth the price for the buffet. You can get a salad, appetizers, sushi as well is Hibachi. The vegetables as well as the meats were all fresh. You can pick noodles or rice , white or fried to go with your hibachi. We all enjoyed it very much and highly recommend it. ”
